During the basic consultation, our vet will be checking on your pet's vitals such as auscultation of the heart and lungs, checking of the body score card (BCS), skin and fur, eyes and ears. If any procedures are required, i.e. ear cleaning or irrigation, anal gland expression, eye examination, etc., additional costs are applicable.

She would also ask you about the progress your pet has gone through with the course of medication given. This health check is performed prior exportation, where our vet will perform an overall check on your pets' physical condition as well as checking their vitals via auscultation of the hearts and lungs before the certification that your pet is fit for travel is given. As there are always changes in international regulations with regards on importation of pet on a regular basis, please do check with the importing country on the necessary tests and regulation for import at that point to prevent any discrepancy with countries and stress to your pets.

Before any vaccinations are performed, our vet will check on your pets' physical conditions as well as their main vital organs such as the heart and lungs. If your pet is fit for vaccination, our vet will proceed with the necessary routine injections. If there is any need for other procedures, such as ear cleaning, anal gland expression, diagnostic tests, etc., additional costs are applicable.

When it is your puppy's/kitten's first visit to the clinic, a first puppy/kitten health check will be performed, where our vet will perform a physical examination on your pet and assess their main vital organs, such as the heart and lungs. She would also provide advise for owners on care for your puppy to ensure that both you and your new puppy/kitten can adapt to each other and them with their new environment more smoothly. If there is any need for other procedures, such as ear cleaning, anal gland expression, diagnostic tests, etc., additional costs are applicable. We would always recommend owners to bring your new pet to the clinic to get an overall assessment of them before bringing them home to ensure that they are all healthy and well.
